If you like Ethiopian coffees, this is the coffee for you. Grown in Kochere, often considered the best sub-region of Ethiopia's famous Yirgacheffe region, Bildimoo Lot 6 exhibits all of the best characteristics that we've come to love in Ethiopian coffees: sweetness, acidity, and complexity of flavors. These heirloom beans were collected by small-holders in the area and processed at a micro-mill on-site.
There's a lot going on in this cup, and we wouldn't have it any other way. A robust bergamot note is reminiscent of tea, while a lime note contributes a zing of acidity. Grapefruit and passionfruit notes provide some sweetness and dial-up the tart acidity a bit more, giving this coffee some really unique layers of flavor that play upon one another perfectly. This is a special one, we'd love to hear what you think of it!

I personally enjoyed most of the other Ethiopian beans from you guys. A very good coffee but it didn’t have the funky flavor that I’ve grown to love from most African coffees.
Hey Jeremy, I love a good funky coffee too. The Bildimoo was washed and so had a cleaner flavour than the funkier naturals that we sometimes ship.
That makes sense. I think I enjoy it more, the more I drink it. Initially I was expecting that real funky taste I’ve come to expect from most Africans and was slightly disappointed. However, this is still delicious.
