We're extremely excited to be adding a coffee from the Guaya'b cooperative to our Classic line-up. Headquartered in the Huehuetenango department of Guatemala, the Guaya'b Cooperative gets its name from the native Popti' language which means "mutual support". The cooperative was founded in 1999 and now numbers over 600 member farmers that support one another. While the cooperative produces everything from peanuts to hibiscus, the main crop their members grow is really excellent coffee, which is processed and dried to exacting standards. We were blown away the unique flavors in a cup of Guaya'b, and we can't wait for you to try it.
Guaya'b is a Classic coffee if we've ever come across one, with a rich chocolate note that gives the cup real presence and silky smooth body. A delightfully sticky note of dried date contributes a unique sweetness to the flavor profile. Dancing above the chocolate and date notes is a complex web of spices that give each sip a dynamic character and the perfect amount of bite. A cup of Guaya'b is equal parts smooth and spicy, with a bold flavor that finishes sweet every time. It's the perfect coffee for any occasion, and we couldn't be happier to be sharing it with you.

Another Fav for me and my better half. Deep flavors. Interesting taste. Then, something **wonderful** swims around in your mouth. I am still learning but this coffee definitely got my taste buds' attention.
