Andres Reyes Hernandes has a four hectare farm in the mountains of Intibuca, which sits between 1670-1700 meters above sea level. Andres is part of the 60-farm cooperative in Pozo Negro, the community of Intibuca. Andres’s grandfather was actually one of the first coffee producers in the area. It seems fitting that the day-to-day operations of the farm are handled by Andres’ wife, Teresa, and their three kids.
We are super excited to share this coffee with the club! We are tasting a very juicy and sweet coffee up front, with notes of berries and shot through with a hibiscus-like acidity on the back end. All in all, this is a well balanced brew to be had with exceptional mouthfeel, whether in the morning or as an afternoon pick-me-up. Cheers!

I didn't notice the sweetness, but this coffee felt rich and smooth going down.
