This delicious coffee from Sidama has everything you want in an Ethiopian coffee. Stonefruit a little tartness followed by sweetness and of course florals! Usually you are lucky to get one of those notes in a coffee but here we have everything and more.
This coffee comes from Abore Station in Sidama, it's run by Daye Bensa a coffee company based in Ethiopia. They have consistently performed well in the Ethiopian Cup of Excellence finishing 2nd in 2022. That commitment to quality shows here. This coffee is fermented under water for 36 hours before it is washed, which develops the fruitiness but doesn't add any funkiness. The result is a clean but pronounced flavor profile that is just delicious.
