This week's coffee comes from Don Cesar Ureno's micromill in San Isidro de Leon Cortez, Costa Rica. It's a long name, but with coffee this good, it's worth remembering! This coffee is different than many coffees coming out of Costa Rica, because this is a natural processed coffee. Hearkening back to the earliest days of coffee production, the natural process originated in Ethiopia, though it's catching on with specialty coffee producers the world over because of the region-specifc flavors it incorporates into the beans. Don Cesar's coffee is a great example of quality natural coffee, with bold savory notes and a crisp finish. We're crazy about it, and we think you will be too!
