This week's coffee hails from the Karogoto Factory in the Nyeri region of Kenya, known for producing coffees bursting with the characteristic sweetness and vibrance of Kenyan coffee. This particular coffee brings a lot to the table in terms of fragrance and flavor, with plenty of floral and citrus notes throughout the grinding and brewing process. While some coffee drinkers claim this diversity of flavor comes from the unique nature of peaberry beans, all we'll say is that it makes a great tasting cup of coffee, bright and sweet. Separating out the peaberry beans can seem tedious, but the folks at Karogoto Factory certainly reaped rewards for their efforts: this is a coffee you won't forget!
