Origin: Huehuetenango, Guatemala
Producers: Bella Vista
Altitude: 1700-1980

Las Palomas is one of many mountain peaks around the San Pedro Necta area of Huehuetenago. The coffee comes from the collective production of nine small producers located in and around Las Palomas. The plantations range from an elevation of 1800-1975 meters above sea level. Harvest starts relatively “late” due to the altitude, so the season goes from the beginning of March until the end of April. There are two rounds of picking and coffee is handpicked and sorted by the members of the family, who also oversee their own wet mill processing and drying on their own patios. Bella Vista is a coffee processing mill and exporter that works with local farmers to improve the quality of their crops and specialty coffee prices. The Bella Vista team is constantly looking for ways to provide jobs to as many families in their surrounding communities as possible, along with supplying the best quality coffee they can.
This is a very satisfying cup–we are tasting dark chocolate, with ripe berries and bit of light florals at the end. Ready, set, brew.

Another delicious coffee from Moustache, this Guatemalan has subtle orange/pineapple notes that you will immediately notice on the first sip. It has a nice sweet backbone finish. If you enjoy the subtleties of light roasts, this one's for you.
