Just because you're looking for a decaffeinated option doesn't mean you should have to compromise on taste, which is why we're so excited about the 2019 crop of this excellent lot from Guatemala! These beans were grown in Huehuetenango by Ana Maria Ortega on the coffee farm where she grew up. Finca Los Angeles has been in her family since 1950 and with a lifetime of experience in the coffee space, Ana Maria is producing some truly exceptional coffees there now. We featured this coffee last year and it became a favorite for decaf-drinkers - so we're very excited to have it back in the rotation.

The Swiss Water process allows beans to retain the nuances of their flavor while removing caffeine, which we're thankful for since the flavors in a cup of Los Angeles Decaf are so strong. A crisp pear note leads off the profile, which is accentuated by a sweet, smooth caramel flavor. On top of those heavier flavors, a bright tinge of lemon lends this brew a refreshing aftertaste. We were really impressed with how this coffee tastes, and we couldn't be happier to share another decaffeinated option with the club. If you're as surprised as we were that decaf can taste this good, leave us a note on the website or shoot us an email. We'd love to hear from you!

Fantastic Decaf!

One of my favorite decaf roasts I've ever had. Will likely pick this one up again if available.

Beautiful!

I normally don't drink decaf, but I can only handle so much caffeine in one day. So I've started to order decafs because, really I'm addicted to coffee. Anyway, this coffee has some tart notes, especially at the back end, but not overly acidic. It also has great body that feels great across the tongue. I can't believe this is decaf.
