This coffee comes from Raro in Uraga, Guji. Raro sits at 2,470 metres above sea level and is situated on a fertile hill which gets sun during the day and cool winds at night. This combination is almost the perfect conditions for growing coffee. The high altitude and cool night breezes slow down the development of the bean each night. This results in a long slow growing season for the coffee which means a dense incredibly complex final product. And boy does it deliver. This coffee is dense and complex in flavor but extremely expressive, with rich ripe peach fruit balanced by a long finish of delicate lavender and bergamot.

Complex, medium-full bodied, with notes of peanut and stonefruit. A hint of floral flavor rounds things out. Delicious.
