Sakicha Fermented #1
Guji, Ethiopia
Variety: Assorted
Processing: Extended Natural
Origin: Guji, Ethiopia
Producers: Sakicha Station
Altitude: 2155M
Score:
This coffee comes from a washing station established in 2020, in the Sakicha Village of West Guji, Ethiopia. The high altitude of the washing station location (2150 MASL) provides cool nights that allow for the coffee cherry to develop slowly. With slow development, comes complex flavors. The washing station processes coffee for about 200 farmers in the area, each with an average farm size of around 2 hectares. Sakicha Station provides processing for washed, natural as well as anaerobic, or honey.
This coffee is complex, layered, and full of anaerobic fruit with expressive fermented flavors. We are tasting a well balanced cup with cacao, spice, citrus, and even subtle tropical fruit.

Hard to say. It was a flavor explosion of many levels. This is by far my favorite of all I have tried. More fermented coffee. MoRE!! Need more. It's awesome!!!
